The steps below explain how to create MX records for a domain managed using cPanel.
- Log in to the cPanel administrative console.
- From the Mail section of the page (Email Management), select MX Entry.
- In the Email Routing box, select Remote Mail Exchanger and click Change.
- Include the MX record values shown in the MX record values table below.
- Click Add New Record.
Name/Host/Alias | Time to Live (TTL) | Record Type | Value/Answer/Destination |
Blank or @ | 3600 | MX | 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM |
Blank or @ | 3600 | MX | 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM |

Important Note: Propagation may take from 1 hour to 72 hours after the MX entries have been changed. Once the MX entries have been changed Host 99 will not longer be your email provider. Due to this no support is offered for email troubleshooting since Host 99 has no control over Gmail services as you will need to contact Gmail regarding support.
