To All Host 99 Customers,
A critical zero-day vulnerability was published today affecting any hosting provider using SFAF Billing Systems. As part of building a safer web, Host 99 and CloudFlare has added a rule to our Web Application Firewall (WAF) to block the published attack vector.
To enable this rule, log into your account at CloudFlare.com, go to "CloudFlare Settings" -> "Security" -> "Manage WAF". Here you can enable the "CloudFlare Whmcs" rule to protect your website and billing system. Using this rule, hosting partners running their websites behind CloudFlare's WAF and implementing best practices are fully protected from the attack.
These do not effect you (The Customers) website in anyway nor the Host 99 Servers. These rules only apply to Host 99's Billing system directly. No other sections of the Host 99 network are effected. Host 99 will be mandatory updating for the next 72 hours to fully close this vulnerability. If you experience downtime within your billing account when logged in at https://www.host-99.com/clientarea.php or some functions may not function properly and you need support please use on our Sopcial media Outlets to gain support.
Please only use the Social media outlets for contact reasons do not PUBLISH your support details publicly. We will respond to copied details you post directly to your email. We do appreciate your business and during the meantime while we make a better web and safe guard our customers data and information.
Thanks,
- Host 99 Security Team
